Chimerix is dedicated to improving human health by bringing important antiviral medications to critically ill patients. To achieve this goal, we are pursuing the following strategy:

• Focus on discovering and developing orally-available antiviral agents with excellent potency and tolerability.
• Advance product candidates through clinical proof-of-concept.
• Seek qualified strategic partners to expedite late-stage clinical development and commercialization.
• Pursue collaborative opportunities with international government agencies focused on advancing novel antiviral medicines necessary for medical preparedness in case of a biological incident.

Our aim is the efficient development of important new therapeutics, while managing financial resources and risks to maintain a successful business so we can succeed in our mission.
